Brian Corrigan graduated from the SMU Dedman School of Law and began his legal career as a trial prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office. He showed exceptional ability and was swiftly promoted to a felony prosecutor after just 16 months. 

His first murder case was won four months later when he was only 27. He built a reputation as a tenacious trial advocate and later joined the prestigious Rockwall County District Attorney’s Office as First Assistant District Attorney. 

In this role, he was in charge of the Felony Division, where he oversaw numerous complex cases, including those involving capital murders, sexual assaults, and drug conspiracies.
